Global Partnership Reaches New Heights: Horstman and ST Engineering Celebrate Nearly 30 Years of Strategic Collaboration and sign new agreement

Since the mid-1990s, the two companies have built a strong, trusted relationship that has spanned continents, overcome market challenges, and delivered continuous innovation in the Land Defence area.  This milestone not only highlights the longevity of the business relationship but also underlines the enduring values of mutual respect, adaptability, and a shared vision for excellence.

“Our partnership with Horstman is built on mutual respect and trust,” said Tan Pek Tong, Deputy President of ST Engineering Land Systems. “We are honoured to work with like-minded partners who share our vision for innovation and excellence. We look forward to many more years of shared success.”

"I am pleased that Horstman and ST Engineering have marked nearly 30 years of delivering innovation, excellence, and security through signing this MoU. The UK is a defence industrial superpower, with defence and security exports to Asia Pacific worth over £2.1bn in 2023. We are committed to building mutual prosperity and security with the Asia Pacific, and look forward to seeing our defence partnership grow from strength to strength", said Martin Kent, His Majesty's Trade Commissioner for Asia Pacific

Since the partnership began, Horstman has consistently delivered high-quality suspension systems, playing a critical role in ST Engineering’s vehicle programmes. The close collaboration has enabled both companies to innovate and adapt to evolving market demands while maintaining the highest standards in quality, efficiency, and sustainability.

“It has been an incredible journey partnering with ST Engineering,” said Gareth Elwell, CEO of Horstman Group. “We are delighted to be able to sign this agreement in Singapore on HMS Price of Wales. Nearly three decades of collaboration is a rare achievement in today’s fast-changing world, and we are immensely proud of the trust and respect that form the foundation of our relationship. We are excited for what the future holds as we continue to grow and evolve together.”

As we celebrate this important milestone, both companies reaffirm their commitment to strengthening their alliance, invest in innovation and deliver greater value to their customers around the globe.
