BASIC FUNCTION

To support the business to ensure that both Company stores and despatch areas function efficiently and effectively; the aim being 100% On Time Delivery and stock accuracy. To cover the driving in a 7.5 ton lorry or van when our full time driver is on holiday.

• Accept deliveries into the company and complete the required booking transactions in accordance with the appropriate procedures.
• Maintain stock location movements.
• Raw material picking, allocation & supply alongside internal kit picking, from prioritised Job Order listings, in support of the production areas.
• Operating to specified pick lists and packing of goods for dispatch as required for retail and export trade.
• Work with the designated line-management to optimise efficiency and resource utilisation through improved processes and procedures.
•  Perform prescribed stock checks, reconciliation and reporting actions in line with the company requirements.
• Support team members when process problem solving.
•  To ensure health & safety requirements are met in line with ISO45001.
•  To support continuous improvements activities across the business.
• Support the aim of developing and maintaining a multi-skilled workforce within the team; capable of responding to business needs and customer requirements, efficiently and effectively.
•  Undertake training to achieve acceptable quality levels and ensure procedures are complied with at all times.
• Maintain procedures to enable a continuing compliance with AS9100 quality standards.
•  Work with/support multi-functional teams in the introduction of new products and production   processes into full manufacture.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and cleanliness in the stores areas.
• Undertake the ordering and maintenance of consumable stock.
• Support the bi-annual stock-takes as required.
•  Undertake other additional duties that may be required from time to time as determined by the company.
• To cover our full time driver in his absence travelling from Fishponds to Bath when required
